Teen Stop Jeunesse provides the opportunity for personal growth and development to people in need of a helping hand by creating a feeling of belonging and acceptance in a home away from home atmosphere. All of our programs are available to any youth (aged 8 to 18) who would like to participate. TSJ wants the youth to know that no matter what their interests are or their personal situation is our staff care about them and are willing to listen. Our goal is to create a safe, secure fun place to go outside of school. We pride ourselves on creating programming based on ideas from our youth. There is no charge for any of our programs although all youth must fill out a membership form with emergency contacts, allergy information etc. Parents/guardians are contacted to ensure they approve of their child’s participation at TSJ and to verify membership information. Youth are required to have their parents/guardians fill out permission slips for all off-site activities.

What is Teen Stop?

In 1983 the centre was registered as a private, non-profit charitable organization. In 1985 Teen Stop Jeunesse became a funded agency of the United Way.
